BCR & ABLETON SUMMER PRODUCTION SCHOOL-INTERMEDIATE CLASS, HOW TO PERFORM LIVE USING ABLETON LIVE
FOR FEMALE AND NON-BINARY PRODUCERS
BCR are co-hosting another series of free music production workshops with Ableton throughout the summer!
The third workshop will take place on August 22nd with producer Liza Aikin:
In this workshop, we will look into the principles of making a live set: taking interesting loops out of songs you already produced, or samples you recorded, how to adapt them, and how to define if they fit the live set format.
We will also explore how to integrate field recordings into a live set, and how to get song composition ideas through playing live.
We will finish with a listening session, so remember to bring your own material If you’d like some feedback.
Ableton Live and Push will be provided and the workshops will be held in English.
Time: August 22nd, 5pm start
Place: Ableton Office Berlin-Mitte
